Hello my loves,
I am in flux. As my work on my novel has exploded in a flurry of inspiration and early morning scribe sessions, I am feeling the energy drain from these weekly letters. Having this recurring deadline for myself has been such a boon to my creativity, and I want to continue weekly writing in a way that is sustainable for me and enjoyable for you.
I treasure this connection to each of you, and have no intention of going anywhere! But I would LOVE to hear from you as I ponder the direction that The Ancestral Homekeeper will take. What would you like to see from this newsletter? What are your favorite kinds of essays to read? I would so very much appreciate it if you could take a tiny moment to vote in the poll below, and add any thoughts you might have in the comments.
I am also going to be playing with the day of the week that I send these letters. Sundays are proving increasingly difficult, and I have noticed a huge uptick in other newsletters coming out on the weekends. I don’t suspect this matters to many of you, but if you have a preference, please do let me know!
And in more news, our kitchen renovation is finally in the home stretch! This means I will finally be able to resume filming my YouTube videos, which has been nearly impossible for the past year and a half. I am positively bursting with ideas and new directions for the channel, and I will of course be sharing that content here too, in some form.
Thank you for reading this far, and thank you for being here. I truly treasure your time, as I know there is so much content competing for your attention. Take good care of yourself.
With love and warmth,
Kristina
Hi lovely! I didn't realize I could only vote for one thing/not change my vote. I'm really interested in slow living bits, as well as motherhood as I move into that chapter of my life myself, and adore the idea of recipes/cooking/ancestral homekeeping content of any kind. I follow a lot of other people who share more about creativity and writing. I also really appreciate any "home making" type content that isn't hyper-Christian focused, which can be hard to find - so appreciate that about your work!
